Preparation for the Development

3. In some case to ensure the clients have established a trust with us, we usually suggest starting a pilot project to smoothen the process, communication and expectation on the either site.
4. Selection of the team is critical and we lay a lot of emphasis to keep adequate and skilled resources for any project. Our teams are well educated, with good communication skills with minimum education of Bachelors in Engineering or Masters.
5. Pollux never compromises on quality. We employ stringent practices to ensure we have independent checks at critical stages of the project. Based on the nature of the project and its complexity we tailor the process and approach for the development.
6. Our clients are kept abreast about the progress of the project during the development. The team at Pollux use periodic reporting templates (daily and weekly) which is mailed across to clients. The project status report includes the work completed, work in progress, expectation from client, any challenges and/ or show-stoppers and adequate contingency planning.
7. In order to keep the communications streamlined and smooth we employ different tools i.e. Instant Messengers, emails, telephone (VOIP), fax, desktop sharing tools etc.
8. Our applications are developed on our development servers and interim and final deliveries are staged on our servers in Texas and New York (USA) to allow our clients to check the progress of their projects.

1. A detailed proposal outlining the objective, scope, methodology, technology, deliverables, acceptance criteria, cost, timeline, payment terms etc for the proposed project is provided for approval to the client.
2. Upon reaching to an agreement on the proposal a detailed project plan along with its milestones and deliverables are sent across.
3. A phase for understanding/ knowledge transfer or a complete requirement study is done by interviewing the users of the system. This is followed by system design and architecture for the system.
4. Based on the requirements and design the Project Manager would allocate individual tasks as per the plan to the development team to start the development of the system.
5. Our teams keep the clients informed about the progress on the project using different communication tools.
6. At Pollux we emphasize on minimizing the bugs. For this we plan early and have different level of testing ensuring the acceptance testing of the system is smooth.
